TITLE: Sales Representative - Hunter
LOCATION: Albany, NY
This critical position is responsible for managing customer sales opportunities, business development and customer care issues associated with growing and expanding the customer base of TAG Solutions. The successful Sales Representative will focus on security, virtualization and unified communications solutions in the Financial Services, Healthcare and Higher Education verticals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree and applicable work experience
- Prior proven sales, account management, and project management experience
- Clear and demonstrable knowledge of TAG Solutions products and services
- 5-10 years telecommunications, data and/or infrastructure industry experience
- Industry or manufacturer technical certifications or training a plus

DUTIES:
- Identify, validate, quantify and prioritize opportunities with new clients

TITLE: Senior Network Engineer
LOCATION: Albany, NY
The Senior Network Engineer is primarily responsible for providing IT consulting services to TAG Solutions clients and is a subject-matter expert in computer networking. The Senior Network Engineer designs, implements, and supports client networks, which includes both conceptual and field work with the hardware and software related to routers, switches, firewalls, security appliances, wireless devices, servers, workstations, and virtual machines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. or higher degree in engineering or technology-related field (preferred)
- Minimum of five (5) years of computer networking experience
- One or more security certifications (GSEC, CISSP, Security+, SCNP, SSCP)
- One or more technical certifications (CCNP, CCSP, CCIE, MCITP, VCP)
- Experience with the following: Cisco routers, switches and firewalls, LAN/WAN, VPN, IDS, SEIM, NAC, Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Symantec security products
- Project management experience
- Excellent communication skills, ability to multitask and customer service skills
- Do what-ever-it-takes attitude
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to be on-call
DUTIES:
- Monitors and tunes customer networks for optimal security an performance
- Provides planning and technical support for enterprise installations

TITLE: Network Engineer
LOCATION: Albany, NY
This position is primarily responsible for providing IT consulting services to TAG Solutions clients. Under supervision performs server, workstation, firewall, routing, switching infrastructure administration, upgrades, and new installation. Performs a variety of tasks related to network restoration, uptime, performance and maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Associates Degree in related field
- Bachelors degree in computer-related field (preferred)
- Requires 24 – 48 months of consulting field service, network administration, help desk or desk side support experience
- Possesses a mix of the following technical certifications (A+, N+, MCSE, MCITP, VCP, and CCNA) and a good working knowledge of WAN and LAN technologies
- Experience with the following a plus: Windows XP,Vista and 7, Windows Server 2003/2008, Cisco & SonicWall firewalls, server configuration – including policy and group based security applications, login scripts, backups, VMware, Exchange 2003/2007, and desktop support
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Ability to be on-call
